Looking for the full cast of MGM+’s Treasure Island, including the lesser-known supporting roles and what is known about the cast across all six episodes? The new adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s adventure stars David Oyelowo, Hayley Atwell, Tom Sweet, Jack Huston and Tomer Capone. It also features Craige Els, Tristan Sturrock and Neil Pendleton in key supporting parts.

One important note: the network and major listings have confirmed the series’ principal and supporting cast, but they have not published a complete, episode-by-episode guest-cast breakdown for all six installments. This guide separates confirmed casting from details that have not been publicly verified, rather than guessing at unannounced roles.

David Oyelowo Long John Silver The charismatic, dangerous sailor whose loyalties are difficult to read.
Jack Huston Aaron Graham A polished but duplicitous British agent and revolutionary spy.
Tomer Capone Billy Bones The sea-worn sailor whose arrival sets the story’s danger in motion.
Craige Els Mr. Arrow A supporting character connected to the ship’s command structure.
Tristan Sturrock Captain Smollett The captain responsible for the voyage and its increasingly unstable crew.
Neil Pendleton Mr. Cameron A further named supporting role in the ensemble.

The five leads and their characters

Tom Sweet as Jim Hawkins

Sweet plays the young protagonist, whose discovery of a treasure map changes his future. The series frames Jim’s journey as a coming-of-age story: he begins as a sheltered teenager and is forced to make decisions in a world shaped by greed, manipulation and violence. The central question is not simply whether Jim can find the treasure, but what kind of person he becomes while pursuing it.

Hayley Atwell as Bess Hawkins

Atwell’s Bess is more than a background parent. She is described as resourceful and decisive, and her choices place her directly inside the struggle for control of the map and the voyage. That expanded role gives the series a second perspective on danger: Jim is learning how to survive, while Bess is actively negotiating with powerful men who may not be telling the truth.

David Oyelowo as Long John Silver

Oyelowo’s Silver is positioned as both charming and frightening—a survivor who can win trust while quietly calculating his next move. Silver is the story’s most recognizable pirate, but this version appears interested in his intelligence and contradictions as much as his menace. That makes him a crucial counterweight to Jim’s inexperience.

Jack Huston as Aaron Graham

Huston plays Aaron Graham, a British agent whose polished manner conceals a larger political agenda. The official synopsis describes him as a revolutionary spy seeking to use the treasure to challenge colonial power. His presence pushes the story beyond a straightforward hunt for gold and adds a contest over who will control its consequences.

Tomer Capone as Billy Bones

Capone plays Billy Bones, the troubled sailor whose arrival at the Admiral Benbow helps set the plot in motion. In a story built on secrets, Bones is an early warning that the treasure map brings danger along with opportunity.

The lesser-known cast: Mr. Arrow, Captain Smollett and Mr. Cameron

The supporting roles help make the Hispaniola feel like a working ship rather than a stage built only for the leads. Craige Els is credited as Mr. Arrow, Tristan Sturrock as Captain Smollett, and Neil Pendleton as Mr. Cameron. Captain Smollett’s role is especially important to the classic story because authority aboard the ship is constantly tested by competing loyalties. Mr. Arrow and Mr. Cameron add further layers to the shipboard ensemble.

These credits are confirmed, but public materials currently do not provide a verified list of every actor appearing in each episode. Some supporting characters may have brief appearances or may be listed differently across databases as episode credits are updated. For that reason, this article does not attach the eight confirmed performers to specific episodes without a reliable episode credit.
