For U.S. Roblox players · October 29, 2026 · By Shivam Das
Quick answer: If Floor 8 does not appear when expected, check the official The Hollow experience, its elevator, and the live quest panel. Roblox has confirmed the nine-monster Halloween event and its reward-collection deadline, but its main announcement does not promise an exact minute when each floor unlocks. A fan-site countdown or creator livestream is not proof that your server has opened Floor 8.
For East Coast players, a delay can disrupt a short evening session or a plan to claim an event reward. Verify what the game itself shows before spending time on a third-party route, switching servers repeatedly, or trusting a post that promises a guaranteed unlock.
Check the official hub first
Roblox describes The Hollow as a platform-wide Halloween survival event with nine horror-game monsters appearing over nine days. The official lineup includes The Overseer from WARDEN. Roblox also says a live finale is planned for the morning of October 31 and eligible rewards can be collected until noon Pacific Standard Time on November 2, 2026. Those event-wide details do not establish an exact unlock minute for a specific floor.
Open the official The Hollow experience by Roblox Presents. Check the elevator, quest panel, and any in-game notice. Confirm the publisher is Roblox Presents; similarly named games and copied reward pages are not substitutes.
East Coast time: how to interpret reported unlock windows
Some third-party trackers have reported a daily check window around 2 p.m. Pacific Time. While the U.S. is observing daylight time, that converts to about 5 p.m. Eastern. Treat it as a community-reported time to check, not an official Roblox guarantee. The live elevator and event notices are more reliable than a countdown that may be stale or use a different time zone.
| U.S. time zone | Conversion of a reported 2 p.m. Pacific check | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Pacific | 2:00 p.m. | Does Floor 8 appear in the elevator? |
| Mountain | 3:00 p.m. | Is there an active Floor 8 objective? |
| Central | 4:00 p.m. | Does the in-game prompt match the guide? |
| Eastern | 5:00 p.m. | Is Floor 8 available in your server? |
These are time-zone conversions of a reported check window, not a release schedule published by Roblox. On October 29, U.S. clocks are still on daylight time. The United States switches back to standard time on November 1, so check the time-zone label again when planning around the November 2 reward deadline.
If Floor 8 is missing: a safe checklist
- Check the elevator and quest panel. Look for Floor 8 and read the exact objective. Do not rely only on a screenshot from another player.
- Refresh once. If the interface looks stale, leave and rejoin the official experience once, then check again. Rejoining is a basic troubleshooting step, not a guaranteed fix.
- Check official Roblox updates. Look for a newer announcement or in-game notice before assuming the event is delayed for everyone.
- Separate floor access from a livestream. A creator stream may start before or after a floor becomes playable; its start time does not prove server availability.
- Record the actual error. If a visible quest will not start, note the message and the step that triggered it. Contact Roblox Support if the issue persists.
- Avoid unlock scripts and account-sharing offers. Never give a third party your password, verification code, session cookie, or payment information to unlock a reward.
Do not confuse The Hollow with WARDEN's original game
The Overseer is associated with WARDEN, but a guide for WARDEN's original experience is not automatically a verified solution for The Hollow's event floor. Follow the exact prompt shown in the event hub. Treat any unverified relic name, pedestal order, safe zone, or instant-kill claim as a report until it can be checked against the live experience.
The finale and reward deadline are different
Roblox says the live finale is planned for the morning of October 31. Reward collection continues until noon Pacific Standard Time on November 2, 2026. The finale is not the final reward-claim deadline. Check each objective and claim rewards as soon as the game marks them complete rather than waiting until the last hours.

Frequently asked questions
What should East Coast players do if Floor 8 opens late?
Open the official hub, check the elevator and quest panel, refresh or rejoin once if the interface appears stale, and check Roblox's official announcements. Do not treat a fan countdown as proof that your server should already have access.
Is 5 p.m. Eastern an official Floor 8 release time?
No. It is a conversion of a roughly 2 p.m. Pacific check window reported by third-party trackers. Roblox's main event announcement does not guarantee an exact daily unlock minute.
Does The Overseer officially belong to The Hollow?
Yes. Roblox's October 21, 2026 announcement names The Overseer from WARDEN among the nine monsters in The Hollow event.
Does a creator livestream prove Floor 8 is live?
No. A livestream schedule and in-game floor availability are separate. Check the live hub directly.
When does The Hollow reward collection end?
Roblox says eligible rewards can be collected until noon Pacific Standard Time on November 2, 2026. The live finale is planned for the morning of October 31.
What if the floor is visible but the quest will not start?
Read the in-game instructions again, rejoin once if the interface appears stuck, capture the exact error, and contact Roblox Support if it continues. Avoid third-party scripts or anyone asking for your account credentials.
