What is The Love Hypothesis about?
Lili Reinhart plays Olive Smith, a Ph.D. candidate whose academic future is more important to her than dating. After her best friend Ahn begins dating Olive's former crush Jeremy, Olive impulsively kisses intimidating biology professor Adam Carlsen, played by Tom Bateman, to prove she has moved on.
The kiss turns into a fake relationship with rules and boundaries. The central question is whether those rules can survive genuine feelings.
