Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story
The latest Monster anthology installment dramatizes the 1892 Lizzie Borden case. Ella Beatty stars as Lizzie Borden, with the series using historical events as the foundation for a scripted crime drama. Viewers should distinguish the dramatized storytelling from a documentary reconstruction.
Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 Season 2
The animated Stranger Things spinoff returns with another story set in Hawkins. Its connection to the wider franchise makes it one of the most recognizable searches in the current Netflix animation lineup.
What is coming later in September?
Netflix’s September schedule continues through the final week of the month, with new reality, documentary, international and scripted titles arriving after September 20. Dates can change, and catalog availability can differ by country, so U.S. viewers should confirm the listing in Netflix on release day.
New Netflix shows versus returning Netflix shows
Searches for “new Netflix shows” can include both brand-new series and new seasons. For example, Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 Season 2 is a returning season, while Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story is a new anthology installment. Keeping those categories separate makes the release calendar easier to understand.
