Steal An Egg Zombified Pets: How Rare Are They Really?
Steal An Egg Zombified Pets: How Rare Are They Really?

Quick answer: The October 2026 Halloween Egg shop screenshot reviewed for this guide displays a separate 1% Zombified chance. If that rate applies independently to every hatch, one egg has a 1-in-100 chance, 50 eggs give roughly a 39.5% chance of at least one Zombified result, and 100 eggs give roughly 63.4%. Those are probability calculations—not guarantees. Check the odds shown in your live game before spending Robux.

Steal An Egg’s Halloween update has added another chase for collectors: Zombified versions of the limited Halloween Egg pets. The green shop panel makes the special roll look simple, but the number can be easy to misunderstand. A 1% chance does not mean every 100th egg must be Zombified, and it does not mean buying a large bundle guarantees the variant.

What does the 1% Zombified chance mean?

A 1% chance is the same as 1 in 100 for each eligible roll, assuming the game uses the displayed rate and each roll is independent. It is a probability, not a countdown. You might get a Zombified pet on your first egg, or open many eggs without seeing one.

The practical question is not “How many eggs until I am guaranteed one?” The current evidence does not show a guarantee or pity counter. Instead, estimate your odds before deciding how much of your Robux budget you are comfortable risking.

Eggs opened Chance of at least one Zombified result* What it means
1 1.0% About 1 chance in 100.
10 9.6% Still more than a 90% chance of getting none.
50 39.5% Fewer than half of players would be expected to hit at least one at this rate.
100 63.4% Better than even odds, but no guarantee.
200 86.6% A miss is still possible, even after 200 attempts.

*Calculated as 1 − (0.99)n, assuming a fixed 1% chance on each independent hatch. These are mathematical estimates based on the reported shop rate, not official promises from the developers.

Which pets have Zombified versions?

Launch-period reporting lists six pets in the Robux Halloween Egg, each with a corresponding Zombified version: Pumpkin Fiend, Night Fang, Tombstone Bear, Grave Cerberus, Phantom Dragon and Bone Emperor. The same reporting lists regular pet chances of 39%, 24%, 18%, 11%, 6.5% and 0.5%, alongside a separate 1% Zombified roll. Use the live shop panel as the final authority if the game display changes.

Do not confuse the Zombified variant with the normal pet rarity. The shop’s rarest listed regular pet chance is 0.5%; the reported Zombified chance is a separate 1% outcome. Those figures describe different rolls and should not be treated as interchangeable.

Halloween Egg versus the Candy Corn egg

Steal An Egg has two Halloween-themed egg routes that are easy to mix up. The limited Halloween Egg is shown in the main shop with Robux bundle prices and the reported Zombified roll. The Halloween Dimension Egg is a separate event-shop item purchased with Candy Corn. Do not apply one egg’s odds to the other.

The distinction matters for free-to-play players. Candy Corn is earned through Halloween Dimension activities, while the limited Halloween Egg uses Robux. If you are trying to collect pets without paying, focus on the event’s free routes and check each item’s displayed rewards before spending time or currency.

Do bigger Robux bundles improve your odds?

Bundles can reduce the average cost per egg, but they do not automatically improve the chance attached to each individual hatch. A launch-weekend guide reports prices of 99 Robux for one egg, 249 for three, 799 for ten and 3,499 for fifty. Prices and availability can change, so verify them in the live shop.

If each egg truly has a fixed 1% Zombified chance, a 50-egg bundle gives 50 attempts—not a guaranteed Zombified pet. The chance of at least one success across those 50 attempts is about 39.5%. Only spend what you can comfortably afford to lose, and do not chase a miss by exceeding your budget.

What is confirmed—and what still needs checking?

  • Reported in the shop screenshot: a 1% Zombified chance for the Halloween Egg.
  • Reported pet pool: six regular Halloween pets, with Zombified counterparts.
  • Not guaranteed: receiving one after 100 or 200 eggs.
  • Not verified as a rule: a pity counter, guaranteed milestone, or separate paid reroll button beyond the displayed Zombified roll.
  • Always check: the live in-game odds panel, price and event timer before buying.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Zombified chance in Steal An Egg?

Launch-period reporting of the Halloween Egg shop shows a 1% Zombified chance. Check the in-game panel in case the odds have changed.

Is a Zombified pet guaranteed after 100 eggs?

No. At a 1% independent chance per egg, 100 attempts give about a 63.4% chance of at least one Zombified result. That still leaves about a 36.6% chance of getting none.

Does buying 50 eggs increase the chance per egg?

No, not if the game uses the same fixed odds for every hatch. It gives you more attempts, but does not make any individual attempt more likely.

Are Zombified pets the same as the rarest Halloween pets?

No. The reported 0.5% chance belongs to the rarest regular Halloween Egg pet, while the Zombified variant is listed as a separate 1% roll.

Can I get the Candy Corn egg for Robux?

The Halloween Dimension Egg is shown as a Candy Corn exchange, while the limited Halloween Egg is sold through the Robux shop. Check the current in-game shop for exact availability and costs.

Where should I verify the latest odds?

Open the Halloween Egg in the live Steal An Egg shop and read the odds displayed there. You can also consult the official Steal An Egg Roblox experience for current game access and announcements.
