Piggy Fright Night Season 9: Limited Survivor Effect Guide (2026)
Piggy Fright Night Season 9: Limited Survivor Effect Guide (2026)

Quick answer: Piggy’s Fright Night Season 9 is a limited Halloween season, while Frightful Forest is a separate Forest-map event with a hidden Survivor Effect quest. To pursue the forest reward, join an updated Piggy server, play Book 1 Chapter 4 (Forest), and collect all six coloured pumpkins. The Season 9 reward track is separate: Part II opened tiers 16–20 on October 17, 2026, with the season listing scheduled to end November 1.

What is the limited Survivor Effect in Piggy?

Piggy’s Halloween content includes two activities that are easy to confuse: the Fright Night Season 9 progression track and the separate Frightful Forest map refresh. The official Roblox event listing describes Fright Night as the new Halloween season, scheduled from October 1 through November 1, 2026. Roblox’s Piggy experience page also lists Frightful Forest and Fright Night Part II as separate pieces of seasonal content.

The Forest event adds a hidden quest that awards a Survivor Effect. Community walkthroughs identify the effect as Wisps, but the official event description does not spell out the effect’s name or every step. Treat the reward name and route below as community-reported guidance, and check the current game if the interface has changed.

How to unlock the Frightful Forest Survivor Effect

  1. Open the official Piggy experience and join a recently updated server.
  2. Choose Book 1, Chapter 4: Forest. The Halloween appearance may not load in an older server.
  3. Search the map for six coloured pumpkins: yellow, red, orange, purple, green and blue.
  4. Check locked areas as well as open ground. Community guides report that the yellow pumpkin is behind the Orange Lock gate near a tombstone, while the blue pumpkin is inside the cave behind a boarded entrance.
  5. Collect the remaining pumpkins around the cabins, broken shed and flipped car area. You can collect them in any order.
  6. After the sixth pumpkin, listen for the reward confirmation and check the Survivor Effects menu.

Important: You do not need to complete the normal escape just to finish the pumpkin collection, according to community walkthroughs. If the Halloween map or quest does not appear, switch to a fresh server before assuming the event has ended.

All six pumpkin locations: route checklist

Pumpkin Reported location Tip
Yellow On a tombstone in the graveyard area behind the Orange Lock gate Find the Orange Key first.
Red In a bush beside the Green Lock cabin Check the outside edge of the cabin.
Orange Behind the cabin across from the Red Lock cabin Look around the rear corner.
Purple Behind a crate near the broken shed and player spawn Check behind objects, not just the path.
Green Near the Wrench panel and flipped car Scan the ground around the vehicle.
Blue Inside the cave behind a boarded wooden entrance You may need the Hammer to open the boards.

These positions are reported by community guides and walkthroughs, not a complete official map published by the developers. If an item has moved in a newer server build, trust the live game over an older screenshot.

Fright Night Part II: do not confuse it with the Forest quest

Fright Night Part II added the final five reward tiers, 16 through 20, to the existing Season 9 track on October 17, 2026. It is not a separate map and it is not the six-pumpkin quest. Open Piggy’s current Season 9 reward screen to check your progress and the exact reward card for each tier. The official event card confirms the season schedule, but it does not provide a full item-by-item list for every reward tier.

Current event information lists the main Fright Night season through November 1, 2026. Frightful Forest has a separate event listing reported to run through November 8, 2026. Because these are different event windows, do not assume that finishing the season pass automatically ends the Forest quest—or that the Forest deadline extends the season pass.

  • Can’t see the new content? Join a fresh server and reopen the relevant event menu.
  • Near the deadline? Prioritize the reward you actually want and verify the live timer in-game instead of relying on old posts.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Frightful Forest quest reward?

Community guides identify the reward as Wisps, a Survivor Effect. The official event description confirms that Forest contains a hidden, limited-time Survivor Effect quest but does not name it in the description.

How many pumpkins do I need to collect?

Six: yellow, red, orange, purple, green and blue. Community walkthroughs say they can be collected in any order.

Do I need to escape Forest to receive the effect?

Is Fright Night Part II the same as Frightful Forest?

When does Piggy Fright Night Season 9 end?

The official Roblox event listing schedules Season 9 through November 1, 2026. Frightful Forest has a separate listing, so check each event’s live page for its own deadline.

Where can I verify the latest details?
