The first three episodes of American Horror Story Season 13 established the board: Mr. Nas on the thirteenth floor, a portal under the Apollyon, thirteen leading ladies in progress, and a Supreme who has already felt the harbinger. The next three episodes drop on October 1. Their titles are already public. What they are likely to deliver follows directly from the unfinished business of the premiere.
American Horror Story Season 13 episodes 4, 5, and 6 air October 1 on FX and Hulu. Titles include “Is That All There Is?,” “Date Night,” and “The Return of Devil’s Night.” Here is what the next block is set up to deliver after Rauhnacht.

Episode 4: “Is That All There Is?”
Episode 5: “Date Night”
Episode 6: “The Return of Devil’s Night”
The first title echoes the Peggy Lee song about disappointment and emptiness—an odd choice for a season that has so far specialized in excess. The second suggests a more intimate or transactional evening. The third returns to a motif the franchise has used before: Devil’s Night, the night before Halloween historically associated with arson and chaos in some American cities, and already referenced in earlier seasons as a night when certain rules loosen.
What Still Needs Payoff
Elizabeth Short was delivered to Club Hell at the end of Episode 3. The ritual itself was not shown. The October block is the first opportunity to reveal what happens to a leading lady once she crosses the threshold—and whether the process can be interrupted.
Mr. Nas remains only partially explained. The dual casting of Fedor Steer and Paul Anthony Kelly almost guarantees that Young Nas will appear before the midpoint. A flashback or parallel timeline in one of the next three episodes would clarify how long the entity has been operating and what Constance’s original bargain actually was.
Cordelia has named the threat but has not yet moved the coven. The longer the witches stay in New Orleans, the higher the cost of their eventual arrival. An October appearance would still leave them late; a further delay would make them reactive rather than decisive.
What the Titles Suggest
“Is That All There Is?” could function as a character beat—someone realizing the reunion or the ritual is emptier than expected—or as a structural turn in which the season undercuts its own spectacle. “Date Night” may be the most literal of the three: a one-on-one encounter, possibly between Ben and someone connected to Nas, or between two returning characters whose alliance has not yet been tested. “The Return of Devil’s Night” is the most explicit signal that the season will keep expanding its calendar of liminal nights. Rauhnacht was the first. Devil’s Night is the second. The pattern suggests the ultimate evil operates through specific dates when boundaries are already thin.
What Viewers Should Watch For
Any new female character with historical or franchise weight is a candidate for the remaining leading-lady slots. Any scene that returns to the basement of the Apollyon will clarify the rules of the portal. Any appearance by Young Nas will rewrite the reading of the old man in the bed. And any movement by Cordelia or Madison will tell the audience whether the witches still believe they can stop what has already started.
The first three episodes were recruitment and setup. The next three have to start answering the questions those episodes deliberately left open.

Frequently Asked Questions
When do the next episodes of American Horror Story Season 13 air?
Episodes 4, 5, and 6 are scheduled for October 1, 2026, on FX and Hulu.
What are the episode titles?
“Is That All There Is?,” “Date Night,” and “The Return of Devil’s Night.”
Will we see more of Mr. Nas?
Almost certainly. The dual casting of an older and younger Nas strongly suggests flashbacks or parallel timelines are coming.

It is the earliest realistic window for Cordelia and the coven to move from sensing the threat to acting on it. Confirmation will only come with the episodes themselves.
